Description

This handy little tool will help you measure diagonals easy and check for square. Will stop tape measure from slipping off corners while measuring diagonals. Attaches easily to tape measure and magnet will help to hold it securely.

You will need one 8mm x 2mm magnet, but can use it without. Magnets press fits in slot, for extra security use little bit of glue.

The corner of the table looks to be about an inch from the end of the tape measure. Is there a unit of measure you are using that we need to subtract for this to work? Otherwise your measurements will not be accurate at all.

Nah. As long as the measurement is the same in both corners, doesn’t matter what the actual dimension is. You could use a piece of string and a magic marker.

I realize that. But this has already caused a lot of confusion in the groups he's posted it in by using the word "measuring". He really should provide the offset so there is no confusion when "measuring".

hi, probably used wrong words, I just use this to measure diagonal on larger builds like doors, windows or wardrobe etc. doesn’t matter what’s the number as long as both diagonals are the same you know it’s square.

Great simple design! The only thing I would change would be to add a 10mm hole where I have the button battery so I could store it on my pegboard. Again very nice and useful

This print turned out clean and rotates smoothly after being broken loose. Good fitment on the magnet as well. The only problem is the slot doesn’t fit any of my tape measure ends. Oh well, I should have checked in advance

Width in my case, the slot printed at approximately 23mm and the tape ends that I have range between 24-29mm wide.

hi, you can’t put it together, you have to print in one piece in place, use 3mf file to print.
