25mm + 30mm Standard Festool style knobs / 25mm + 30mm Festool style Wingnut knobs

 

These are created by remixing https://www.printables.com/model/113905-festool-knob-v2 to be parametric, adding wingnut cut-outs and resizing as required. Thanks for the original model and if you want one with festool text on the top, go direct to the original.

 

Checkout my other models where I have also remixed this to accept an m6 hex bolt through the 30mm version (published as a remix now here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/136051#profileId-147847 ).

 

How to print:

Print profile has a pause at layer 52 (8.36mm) when printed using 0.16 layer height included.

Simply wait for the pause, insert your m6 nut and resume the print.

If the nut won't fit, you will need to use scaling or xy compensation to adjust to your printer.

 

WARNING: Please do not use a nut thicker than 4.83mm and make sure it seats well when you insert it or you risk damage to your printer if the head catches the nut after resuming printing. It should sit below the layer that has been printed when inserting - please double check. Actual nut tested was 9.79mm diameter, 4.83mm thick.

 

Measure twice, print once !!! You have been warned.

Hi - Life got in the way of me going through the process of creating the pictures, upload etc - will add it to my todo list now someone has asked. Will post back here when its uploaded.
