Description

A box with a Lid for a V60 SIZE 1 paper filters

I wanted a box with a lid so the filters don't get dirty while not in use and i designed one

Bonus: it fits more Filters than a single bag (100), so you don't have to wait until you finish them to refill ;)

Printing:

Print on the back of parts as in the photo below, and add manual supports only for the larger holes in the Lid

print with a brim to prevent warping

Additional Hardware:

x2 M2x16 or longer Hex screws (ISO 4762)

x2 M2 Threaded Heat insets (any length will do) max outer diameter of 3.4 mm

Assembly:

  • Clean printed parts from brim and supports
  • insert the threaded Heat inserts into the Base part
  • put the lid on top and screw in the screws (the tighter you screw them the more rigid the opening and closing of the lid will be)

ENJOY

P.S: Comment if you want the box for size 2 and 3 filters as well and i'll add prints for them

I use it for v60 01 and scalate to 230 to use it for 02 and have no issues although I haven't place the screws in place I just use a little cable of filament to hold in place.

Good design, absolutely huge though. Bear that in mind!

You’ve nailed it! This design allows for easy one-handed retrieval of the filter paper and is dustproof. Print it out right away to test its effectiveness.

Done! Nice work! Exactly what we needed! Dustproof and allows for one-handed access to the filter paper.正是需要的样子!防灰尘,单手打开拿取滤纸。

Printed and constructed this and it turned out great! Had no issues adding heat inserts and screws either. I had to sand the edge of the container down slightly as the edges were not meeting but I think that was because I printed on a warm humid day. It also meant a slight curling of the corners at the base layers so I think my lesson here is ensuring that the filament is as dry and moisture free as possible
