Description
Compatible with my MESA-220 model!
(See that post for the checkerboard I'm using!)
I've recreated the simple game of Checkers in a size format suitable for my new swappable board game system.
The pieces are totally usable on their own though, if you just want those alone.
With Dunkin' Donuts releasing their new lineup for this 2024 Halloween season, including purple spider donuts…. I just had to do a purple iteration of them! I had already thought that my spider donut keychains made for good potential Checkers pieces… But with the new purple ones and the MakerWorld board game contest, there was a very obvious thing I needed to do!
I've recolored, resized, and settings adjusted my donuts. I've also designed some crowns for “kinging” donuts that make it to their opponent's side of the board. One is more practical (the large one), while the other is really just for fun (the small one).
Printing:
Printed on Bambu Lab P1S with 0.4mm nozzle and AMS, on Textured PEI Plate
See Bill of Materials (BOM) at bottom for the filaments used!
(PLA Basic colors for board and crown, PLA Matte colors for game pieces)
*The orange/magenta board shown in the photos is a prototype with some errors. The uploaded print profile should produce better colors (with an additional color layer added). Make sure your nozzle is clean of any darker colors though!
Enjoy!
