Description

This is a colored remix of a cryptex I like to use for fun at work and other places.

You are able to disassemble and reassemble it to make new combinations.

The file is by @cees, I just brought it to Maker World and spent time coloring it and changing the settings to allow this to print.

There is an extra spacer ring and inner letter ringlet.

I did need to sand down the side of the letters to get this to better fit but it worked well overall.

You will need:

Glue
2 M3 10 screws
2 M3 20 screws

Awesome print, worked perfectly out of the box. Optimal (0.16mm) is just fine, tried Fine (0.12) but could not tell the difference upon close inspection.

The best 3D print my kids and I have completed! I had to print at .2mm layers including initial. My A1 has trouble printing first layers below that for some reason. The screw end cap was a little tight, but just screwed it on/off gradually and it "sanded" itself. The inner tubes were made with glow in the dark which is a little abrasive. Works fine now. Thanks for putting this together... And instructions?!?! Awesome!

Ohhhh I love it!!! I sanded the separate dials of letters and that helped a lot!

The print is beautiful, unfortunately there is something wrong with me. If I see it correctly, I could add a seventh ring and it would work. If I push it completely together, the rings can no longer be turned because they lock against them , bump inside. I'll print another seventh ring and then give it a Feedback. Der druck ist wunderschön, leider stimmt etwas bei mir nicht. Wenn ich das richtig sehe, könnte ich noch einen siebten ring hinzufügen. Dann würde es funktionieren. Wenn ich es komplett zusammenschiebe, lassen sich die Ringe nicht mehr drehen, da sie gegen die sperren , im inneren stoßen. Ich werde noch einen Siebten ring drucken und dann ein Feedback geben.
