Description

I had printed a PTFE tube guide to keep the tube straight as it entered the buffer, but having to remove it and get another tool to release the tube was a pain. So I came up with this. Just push the button on the back to release the tube.

I'm including the Fusion 360 files in case you need to make changes to the boss on the body diameter where it interfaces the buffer

will this work with the smoothy splitter that you know of?

I haven't tried that splitter, but I can't see a reason why the splitter would cause issues. I did D/L the splitter file and will print and test it tomorrow then report back.

@shdwrider3 - I printed and used the Smoothly splitter, it works great. To be clear I'm placing it between the buffer and the printer. I do see some placing the splitter between the AMS and the buffer, but I can't speak to that.

To tight of a fit. doesn’t work. good concept though. went a different route.

Printed the first day I had the X1C. The inner piece was to big, I reprinted it @ 99% of it's size and it fits perfectly. Since I was in my test phase, I might be the problem for the initial setting, but laziness and the speed of this printer -> 99% original size -> print -> Works, Thanks ! Verry well designed, professional look, I like it.
