Description
Do you store filament in a dry-box? Do you use PTFE Fittings? Well then these handy little caps are for you!
These caps keep moisture out by sealing PTFE fittings when no PTFE tube is installed such as for storage.
These caps must to be printed out of a soft material such as TPU to ensure a good seal. They are tapered to make a good fit, and have a little tab to make it easier to pull them back out!
There are two versions:
Without hole: Simply seals a fitting when not in use.
With Hole: Keeps the end of the filament easily accessible to prevent the need to open the dry-box.
NOTES
- Must be printed out of a soft material such as TPU.
- The version with a hole is not intended to be used while printing.
- These do not guarantee a perfect air tight seal, but they do help a lot.
