Description
Baseplates for Gridfinity, with that satisfying magnetic snap.
Based on the proven Gridfinity Extended “Efficient Magnetic Base”, with a number of improvements:
- Friction fit for magnets, no glue needed
- Extraction holes for magnets, use tweezers to retrieve them when you decommission old base plates
- Magnets covered by thin roof to prevent bins from pulling out magnets
- Perimeter cutouts: bins are held on at the corners and guided by sloped surfaces
- Cutouts for 5x5x1.5 butterfly clips to align multiple plates (glue recommended)
- Square corners to fit your drawers
- 15% less filament used at same settings
The base plates hold gridfinity containers at the same height as Gridfinity Extended magnetic base plates. These plates fit 6x2mm magnets and 6x1mm magnets. If the fit of the magnets is off either print a calibration cube and adjust your filament settings accordingly, or adjust the X-Y hole compensation in your slicer.
