Description
Modern style ribbed LED tea light holder
I had alot of fun creating tea light christmas tree so I decided to make another holder based on the same pattern. Easy to print, easy to assembly and unique ribbed aesthetic.
This time round, elliptical design. As the ribs are printed flat, I’m not limitted by technical capability of FDM printers. No issues with printing thin objects verticaly, no supports needed. The way ribs are connected to the stand gives this design some additional unique looks. Print it and check yourself! :)
All standard LED tea lights of size up to 37.8mm will fit inside (including the one from Bambu Lab Kit which are 37.2mm in diameter).
WARNING! Holder is designed for LED tea light only! Do not use open fire candles.
About the model.
Around 9.5cm wide and 6cm high.
How to build this model.
Model consists of 22 parts (base and 21 ribs) that need to be connected together. After print simply slide ribs into holes in the stand.
Deppends of your printer accuracy and filament used glue may or may not be required. I find out that parts printed in silk PLA fits just right where parts printed in basic PLA are a little bit loose. All printed on the same printer. Quite interesting discovery :)
Build is super easy and should take less than a minute.
