Description

WHAT

YeAH, Yet Another Hammer is a set of three hammers with soft head ends of TPU for using with printed parts without damaging them.

There are 3 complementary sizes, each one in a Print Profile.

The Medium and the Mini hammers can be printed in the A1 Mini.

BIG - 85mm long head.

MEDIUM - 66mm long head.

MINI - 53mm long head.

WHY

There are some hammer models available for 3D printing but the ones I tries were really toys.

This set is sturdy and the head can be weighted using metric nuts.

The Big hammer can be filled with 7 metric M8 nuts that give a really punch power to the tool.

The Medium hammer accepts 7 metric M6 nuts that gives a really controllable power.

The Mini hammer can take 7 metric M5 nuts and has the more gentle hammer blow of the set. Ideal for tiny or really delicate parts.

This is a complementary set where each hammer has its place depending on the work to be done.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Do not use supports when printing!!! They are not needed.

Just print the first plate, the hammer body, in PLA, PETG or ABS as you wish.

Then print the head ends in TPU (I use 95A).

I really recommend the use of the nuts, but the hammers can work without them.

Insert the head ends and you are ready to play.

The M nuts have tolerance, so the nuts can fit perfectly or be a little loose. In the second case you can fill the gaps with some wood glue or similar, so the hammers don't rattle.

NOTES

I highly recommend my set of Circular Hooks for Multiboard for hang these hammer to the board. See here:
