Description

The Holy Moonlight Sword trick weapon from Bloodborne, scaled to be a Dummy 13 weapon. The outer blade slides over the inner blade, allowing the weapon to “transform”. Printable without AMS.

An arcane sword discovered long ago by Ludwig. When blue moonlight dances around the sword, and it channels the abyssal cosmos, its great blade will hurl a shadowy lightwave. The Holy Moonlight Sword is synonymous with Ludwig, the Holy Blade, but few have ever set eyes on the great blade, and whatever guidance it has to offer, it seems to be of a very private, elusive sort.

Plate 1: Untransformed “Claymore” sword

  • Orientation: Print lying flat.

Plate 2: Moonlight outer blade

  • Orientation: Print standing up.
  • Settings: 1 wall and 0 top/bottom layers for the most clarity with glow-in-the-dark or transparent filaments. Classic wall generator.
  • Add a modifier to the bottom of the model for 100% infill or 100% walls on the first 1-2mm of the outer blade to provide extra strength
  • Assemble by inserting the outer blade over the inner blade.
  • I recommend printing the blade in transparent PETG or a glow-in-the-dark PLA.

Prints without supports. 0.15mm layer height.

I Just saw that $50 is crazy for 1kg, I found one on amazon that looked similar its the Paramount 3D PLA (Mid Century Teal) idk how close in color it is but it looks really close to me if u could look at it and see that would help. Thank you for telling me the filament def something imma have to think about.

@Go_Take_A_Nap i love paramount's midcentury teal—ive been using that for pretty much everything nowadays. especially since it comes in petg as well. paramount's teal is a lot more saturated than protopasta's. if you're trying to colormatch makita tools exactly, protopasta is closer. but i find paramount's teal to pop a bit more in real life.

What are the odds you used both xD I found that funny, but thank you for sending the pictures! They really do help on deciding if I wanna get that filament to make a couple of the dummies in that color. I might get the paramount one first, given it seems that it will work with the ams on my a1 and I'm not sure how the protopasta works with it. I just don't wanna ruin my first 3d printer, given I would not be able to replace it.
