Description

Zero Clearance insert for DeWalt DWS780 Miter saw.

I suggest using 0.4 nozzle with 0.2 layer height and 80-90% infill (60% should still work, but not tested).

If you have smaller printer like me (X1C), you need to cut the insert in half and add some plug connectors (inlucded in *.3mf file).

After that, only thing you need to do is to cut it while screwed in your miter saw. Don't forget to square your blade before the cut, then USE SAFETY GLASSES and shop Vac.

Enjoy

Thank you for doing this! I had to break it down into 3 pieces so it would fit on my A1 Mini. But it turned out great. I'm pretty new to this 3D printing, I ended up using a little gorilla glue so the pieces would have somewhat of a bond. I later played around with the software and learned about adding connectors. Oh well, not going to print it again, that was a lot of filament ;). I appreciate you sharing this design.

Im glad it helped! :) Don't forget to change to default insert if you will be cutting bevel so you don't make the zero clearence default clearence.. :D

I like it but probably should have printed with the holes facing down and had some supports in there to benefit from the textured plate I have. The back looks much nicer with that texture though I won't waste more filament to reprint as it works just fine.
