Description

Hi!

This is a perfect model for cat and Christmas lovers! Isn't it cute? You can print it in multicolor even if you do not have an AMS as the model is divided into parts, that can be glued together. If you prefer to print it in one color, profile for such print is also uploaded.

If you print the multipart version, some postprocessing with an exacto knife or small pliers may be needed around the face area, but it should not take more than 5 minutes.

In the profile provided the diameter of the ornament is ~5.5cm (~2.2''), but it can be freely scaled up or down and it does not require supports. Happy printing!

To hang it on your Christmas Tree you will need to print the Cap for Christmas Ornaments and a Hanger for Christmas Ornaments.

one of my batches failed near the top, nozzle was knocking the infill too much and detached the model from the plate, simply turned off "reduce infill retraction" to fix. I'm definitely making a ton of these in different colors

So I've printed 12 so far and I love them, but it got me thinking that a dog version would be amazing to go with them. I'm not too good with this kind of modeling, and you probably have better things to do, but if you did just swap the face with a simple dog face like this I'd be so happy 😁

Hi, actually, I have a couple of animals planned, including a dog one (there is already a Bear Planter uploaded and an ornament version is on the way). If nothing goes wrong I will upload it long before Christmas Time.

Had to add a brim for better adhesion (first print failed close to the end sadly) but final prints came out great!
