Description

Compact and strong ammo box for storage or to take to the range.

Do a test print first, the clearance between the rounds and the lid is tight, so the lid might not fit if your rounds are longer than the ones I tested with (Blazer 124, Lawman 147, Syntech 150).
Let me know if I need to upload a model with more tolerance.

I love the design. Do you have this design with even 0.5mm to 1mm more clearance? Could you provide this model with beefier sliding rails? After my first print, my lid broke between layers, so I printed another lid vertically. The new lid broke the box sliding rails off so I printed that vertically. The model is stronger, but I found out that the pieces won't fit because the ammunition I am using is too long to fit the box (I tried 3 different brands of 115gr FMJ). I would also be interested in a design with even Beefier Sliding Rails. Having printed my box vertically (and with no ammo in the box), I can easily slide the lid off the rail from the side. Thicker interlocking parts or a more flat inface/surface may be better for this method. As a note, My pieces may not have broken with a longer wall or more tolerance. I am also using lesser filament for prototypes before printing multiple boxes.
