Description
This is the lamp that i designed around some simple inexpensive parts that you can get direcly from BAMBU LAB.
This project requires bare minimum soldering skills, everyone can do it with a bit of patience.\
The COB strip is not fixed in any way this means that every lamp it's gonna be truly unique.
I used the ADAFRUIT breakout board but designed this model to fit most USB-C breackout boards.
I used hot glue but for ideal strenght I suggest using superglue.
You will need:
- The 3D printed parts
- One COB strip from BAMBU LAB
- One Acrilic Tube from BAMBU LAB (40x36x126)
- One USB-C breakout board
To assemble this lamp you will first need to solder the COB circuit to the breakout board, VCC or + with 5v and GND with GND as shown here:
Then put the COB strip trough the hole in the base:
Then you will need to glue the USB-C board to the bottom cap:
Next glue the two parts toghether:
Add the acrylic tube in place, can be glued but it's not necessary:
Lastly glue the COB strip to the top cap and close it up:
DONE!
