Cot Cot Ridor 🐔 !

Cot Cot Ridor is an adaptation of the famous game Quoridor but with Silly chickens. Each player plays with a silly chicken and the goal is to reach the other side of the meadow while trying to block their opponents.

It can be played by 2 or 4 players.

The model also includes a storage box to store all the pieces easily.

Build instructions

You will need to print the following materials :

• 4 silly chickens (1 of each color)
• 20 fences
• 4 board parts (to be assembled)
• 1 storage box (optional)

Don't hesitate to print as many silly chickens you want to place them around your house 🐥

Note

The print profile allows up to 5 colors per chicken. If you have only one AMS or no AMS or you want to save filament, don't hesitate to reduce the number of colors. For example, the orange color is only used for the chicken’s beak

Important note for A1 mini users :

2 print profiles are available for A1 mini because the size of the board doesn't allow to have a prime tower. This prime tower is not really necessary as there is only one color change for the board so it's removed in this print profile. The prime tower is still here for chickens because of large amount of color changes.

Rules

To win, Get to the other side of the board before your opponent.

Setup

• Pick a color.
• Place your chicken along the start line closest to you.
• For a 2 players game, each player takes 10 fences
• For a 4 players game, each player takes 5 fences

Gameplay

On your turn you can either:

• Move forward, backwards, left or right, one space.
• Put up a fence like this to block other opposing chickens.

Placement rules:

• You can only move one space.
• You can’t move diagonally.
• Each fence must be aligned to the grid, you can't put one half on a square.
• You can’t jump over fences, but you can jump over your opponent.
• You can’t block opposing chickens off completely - you must leave a space
• For four players, starts on each of the four ends of the meadow

First chicken to the opposite side of the meadow wins! 🐔
