Description

The Moonlight Greatsword from Dark Souls 1 as a Dummy 13 weapon. Printable without AMS.

This sword, one of the rare dragon weapons, came from the tail of Seath the Scaleless, the pale white dragon who betrayed his own. “Seath is the grandfather of sorcery, and this sword is imbued with his magic, which shall be unleashed as a wave of moonlight.”

Plate 1: Handle and Crossguard

  • Orientation: Print handle lying flat. Print crossguard upright.
  • Settings: Classic wall generator.
  • Assemble by inserting the handle pommel-first into the top of the crossguard.

Plate 2: Outer blade

  • Orientation: Print standing up.
  • Settings: 1 wall and 0 top/bottom layers for the most clarity with glow-in-the-dark or transparent filaments. Classic wall generator.
  • Add a modifier to the bottom of the model for 100% infill or 100% walls on the first 10mm of the outer blade to provide extra strength
  • Assemble by inserting the outer blade over the inner blade.

I recommend printing the blade in transparent PETG or a glow-in-the-dark PLA.
