Description

Odin M12 Speedloader adapter to MP5 stick mag.

Needed an adapter for my MP5 mags as I didn't want to buy one.

Has been adapted specifically to the straight stick style mags I have, will probably not work with the curved ones - have only tested with the magazines I have so mileage may vary even with straight mags. Tolerances are also quite tight, so mag should be quite snug when inserting. Pin for securing the mag catch should also be relatively snug, mine was push fit and pushed it all the way in using another pin, the tension of the spring should then help it not to slip back out.

Would recommend printing with at 0.2mm layer height, at least 3 outer perimeters, and 20-25% gyroid infill, tree supports enabled on ‘bed only’, this should make the magwell walls strong enough and also support the bridge for the outside edge. Have uploaded my profile for how I printed the adapter, for recommended orientation.

Material used in my prints is eSun matte black PLA .

Harware required:

M1.5x20 (20-25mm would work) pin

Ballpoint pen spring (cut down slightly if it's too tight to go inbetween the mag catch and adapter)

Print turned out great with your settings and orientation, and works perfect! Thanks!

Glad it works OK! And printing it on a 45 degree angle was the easiest way to not have to support the entire inside from when I was experimenting.

If I try to open the STL in Cura, it says "No models in file", do you know why that is?
