I had previously made a case for the Amazon Fire 7 to mount on a Stellar Labs LCD Mount for Microphone Stand. I wanted to be able to quickly disconnect a tablet from my mic stand... Now, I find myself needing more mounts, and decided to simply make my own in the same style as the Stellar Labs version.

This mount will attach to any American style 5/8" microphone stand. If you have a European 3/8" stand, you use any cheap 50 cent adapter to convert it to a 5/8" stand. Pretty much any VESA mountable object can be used with this stand... including the Amazon Fire 7 case I made previously.

You'll need a 3/8" hex nut, and 3/8"-1.75" hex bolt for this, as well as two 3/8"-1" rubber washers... which can be purchased at your local American hardware store. You can also add a 3/8" metal washer next to the dial, to make it spin smoother, but that's completely optional.
