prints ok. a bit brittle. 1size fits all?

I tried printing this 2 times with different filament and no luck, when it got around the head area it always failed and detached.

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you can use a raft or a brim to improve the item's adhesion?

Support Issue:Can't really get the supports off without damaging the product, especially on the bottom.
Other Issues:Fine details such as the dragon's head printed ok, but are nowhere close to the results from a resin printer.

I agree you can get the best results by using a resin printer. As for the support issue, maybe try playing with the supports parameters, especially the "top z distance" and "top interface layers". The settings in the 3MF file worked best for me (and seem to be working well for others), but each material has different properties, and sometimes you've got to experiment. Good luck!
