Description

Ready to launch! Standing at over 10" tall, this fun rocket ship LED lamp is compatible with the Bambu LED Lamp kit 001. It also works with a regular or color-changing LED tea light. It prints in about 4 hours for all the parts. A jig is included to help attach the wings and make building quick and easy. Everything was ran with basic PLA at .20 layer hieght. I added a brim to the main body to give it stability and enabled supports for the window, but it would probalby run fine without it. Have fun in 3… 2… 1…

Thanks--Love the colors! FYI the little jig thing is just to help put the wings in place and can be discarded.

I love the background! I noticed from your photo that the main body didn't print as intended. I updated the file now so that the hole is hollow all the way through. Then users can decide if they want to put the little disk in the porthole ring before glueing it on the window. Thank you for the positive comments!

This print is perfect. It looks fantastic in my songs space room and will look even better when the one is finished.

a little fiddly to assemble - it would be good to cut some slots and put some extension tabs on the fins to create some strength - in the P1P version I had to turn adhesion on to make the fins stick and not warp - but with a bit of tidy up the print is nice - I wasnt sure about the disk for the port hole - I think it would be better in white and the disk for the port hole to be in red.

anyone have an equivalent cheaper alternative for the led light they use. $12 is just too much and I want to print this and several others that use it.

LED tea lights or small puck lights work as well, it’s just battery powered instead of corded. when I’m back at my desk I can measure the diameter size too the opening to help find alternatives.

The area that fits the Bambu LED puck light kit is 59mm/2.3". There are similar kits available on Amazon.

https://www.aliexpress.com/i/3256805181920290.html?gatewayAdapt=4itemAdapt I ordered the 3 watt natural white with switch, they are the exact same size as the Bambu LED light.

the wings sheer off way too easily. there needs to be a connector on the main body.

Good idea. I used super glue it they seem to hold fine, but a connector would help solidify it. I will work on that. Thanks for the suggestion!
