Lovely design! Assuming I can find people that would like to buy printed versions of this, would you be open to licensing the model for commercial? And what would your terms be? Also, I added those lengthened "bottom bits" as a print profile. If you like them, you can just take my STL's and add them to your design as you like and I can remove my own. Or make a better one! If you don't like them and don't want them, I can take my print profile offline. I would appreciate you asking me to do that.

Hi, thanks for your feedback and suggested design alteration. It’s a good idea and one I’ll add into the model when I can. If you would like a commercial license check out my bio for details of how to join. All the best.

Unique bookmark ideas, but printed a box along with it for some reason that used up a lot of filament and time for me.

The block you’ve mentioned sounds like the prime tower which is standard when using an AMS. You can switch it off if you’d prefer but it may reduce the print quality.

That block (prime tower) allows the print head to get its pressure dialed in after swapping filament, also further reducing the chance of color bleed between swaps.

Printed well, but the part that goes into the book is not long enough to work as a bookmark. Cute though.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. With this one you have to push it into the centre of the book to ensure a good fit when using.

mine looks amazing in PLA Silk red-blue! however, it has a habit of falling out of the book. longer loops that go deeper down the page would be nice

Replying to @kitgerrits :
it tried printing the flat bits at 200% and 400% length. 200% works fine, but the fit at 400% is off by too much, I'm printing a new type now, with the original fit, but the elongated loop:

I was unable to put the large parts onto the page pieces No slot at all?!? it’s so cute how can I make it connect?! I’m afraid glue to flat surface on Lochie will not hold ?!?

Hi, the holes have support material in them. As mentioned in the description you just need to remove the material with a needle or something similar and you should be good to go. 👍🏼

the connectors from head to bookmark are thin and broke taking the supports off so I had to glue it back on.

Sorry to hear that, I had to get that part thin enough to fit between the pages of a book without coming out so you do have to be extra careful when removing the supports. Hopefully it was ok after glueing though.

Internal supports were hard to get out.
