Sanding block to hold a ¼ sheet of paper.
I looked around and found other sanding blocks to be of odd sizes for US paper and not to my liking. Maybe I didn't search long and far enough to find such a model but it led me to creating this model.
Prints with no supports. The threads are tolerances for 3d printing. Printed on my X1C and Aquila X2 successfully.
Made through several iterations which are shown. Pictures show the process. This allowed me to get the dimension and function of the model as I liked. From too big with 2 pinch plates to almost the right size, to the right size using 2 pinch plates to the final using 1 pinch plate. Printing time and material was optimized along the way.
The uploaded model is the final version.
