Description

A large, stylish desk or shelf ornament filled with good vibes only. I designed this sign in Figma and Fusion360 to learn multi-color workflows, and bring good vibes to my workspace.

The finished print can stand on its own and looks fantastic as a multi-color print.

The version shown in the photo used:

  • Bambu PLA Basic Red
  • Polymaker PolyLite PLA Yellow
  • Bambu PLA Basic Blue
  • Bambua PLA Matte White

For personal use only. Not for commercial use.

what font did you use?

Would make an awesome LED Lightbox if you print with 0% infill! You can flip it on its face, and set 0 top layers for the main body, then print the bottom 10 layers for the back.

I was thinking the same. I tried clicking vase mode, but bambu studio said that it wouldn't do vase mode with multi material. I wonder how we could make this happen???

Flip it on its face, do 0% infill and 0 top layers.

The slicer recognizes the overhang is their a slicer setting to allow it, or do we need the model to filet a radius?

Very nice model - really love the style!! (I thought I was smart and used very little infill at the back-most-part of the print to save filament, and a little more in the front to support the top layers - but it turned out a little front heavy and tip over easily when standing - so I made a little simple stand in CAD to make it stand better - love it on my desk!) Thanks for sharing!!

The model design is really cool, but maybe it could use a bit of work. Sadly you can see through the white layer quite a bit, looks like it could've used a bit more filament here..which is rough as it uses so much filament for the first layer. Under certain lightings you can see the infill pattern behind the letters and it's easily noticeable. Seeing the infill design through the whole object after almost 400 grams of filament is less than ideal. I might add a bit of white paint to fix this. I added a highly edited photo to show how you can see the infill pattern through the walls. Going to give this 5 stars, as I'm new to 3D printing and maybe this is due to the filament, color combination or both. Definitely something to consider for this big boy. Thank you to the creator for making this public, it's a delightful, captivating and stylish model!

Firstly - welcome to the 3d printing gang! And welcome to the rabbit hole :P. Appreciate the feedback. When it comes to seeing infill pattern through outer layers, it generally means you'll need to increase the number of top or bottom layers, or number of walls. This can vary by filament - some allow more light to pass through, or interact differently with the infill when placed over the top. I've found *some* light filaments are more susceptible to the infill issue.

Thank you! I do love this model, definitely gonna add a bit of paint. I can see there is a lot to know. How would you fix this issue for this model? I used all bambu filament. I might scale it down a bit and try again for smaller version. Also, I'm not sure how to increase the number of layers.

This printed excellently. The horizontal blue, Bambu Silk, is the only layer that’s easily visible on the printing pattern. I really love this sign. I want more like it.
