Description

Shortly after creating version 1 I realized it was a bit bulkier than I liked. It functioned fine but I felt like It was “in the way”. So, I decided to make one from scratch.

The little retention nub has a very tight .3mm slit so you will need to be sure your printer is dialed in.

I printed this in PETG with .2mm layer height. I used 20% infill except for the top portion where the “back rest” starts. From that point up I used 100% infill. Not sure if that's necessary.

I didn't try PLA, not sure that would hold up.

I printed this with the bottom on the plate and used supports.

Seems like a sturdy holster, however I had trouble getting the retaining flip freed as it fused with the holster at the bottom. Probably a good choice to use PVA filament in-between.
