Description

All models I publish are tested before I publish them.

I finally got it !
This is a great fidget toy to keep in your hand all the time.

is a bit difficult to print due to the small contact area.
The tolerances are set to 0.25 mm, which a well-adjusted printer should handle without problems.

enjoy.

I think that in a complex design, with spheres and overhangs, where tolerances are extremely important, prioritising printing speed is not the best solution. Seams too thick and layer height too high. The dials do not rotate. A slower printing profile, with layers of 0.10-0.12mm would give a superb result.

spins for an ok amount of time, but its consistency depends heavily upon how you spin it.

Unfortunately it comes off the printing plate during printing. I think the ball's contact surface is just too small. I've never had anything come loose with my P1S.

I don't think that A1 Mini will print better. Other People also mentioned this problem. Perhabs i can try printing slower or not using the already prepared file.

Replying to @theasus4 :
i would hardly call the p1s crap. i have the same issue on my X1C but I guess that’s “crap” too. it does somewhat better on the “slow” mode but the inner bearings still popped off. could be the print settings i am going to take a look later at switching to gyroid infill but probably the p1s and x1c having higher acceleration speeds than the a1 mini is the issue

Same issue here on P1P. I will try much slower speeds

Tolerance is good, but the surface area on the balls is so small that one of them let go during printing. It recovered somehow, but doesn't spin as well as it could. Overall I think this is a nice model, and I just need to get some bed glue.
