Description

A model of the Messerschmitt Me 262.

The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the world's first operational jet fighter aircraft, developed and used by the Germans during World War II.
The aircraft entered combat in 1944 and represented a technological breakthrough due to its speed and armament. The Me 262 was much faster than the Allied fighters, reaching speeds of up to 870 km/h. However, due to the limited number of aircraft, it could not achieve a change in the outcome of the war.

The model has a wingspan of approximately 175 mm.
