Desktop IKEA Skadis (256x256x256mm³ Series)
The Desktop IKEA Skadis features a rounded shape and smooth design, making it an excellent choice for storing small items on your desk. The 256x256x256mm³ Series offers 242 sizes for your consideration.
Note added on October 27, 2024:
Before printing, please change the Sparse infill pattern from Aligned Rectilinear to Grid. The original choice of Aligned Rectilinear was to reduce Y-axis wobble and save filament during printing. However, I later discovered that the lack of infill in the curved support areas (see attached image) can cause the model to crack easily. Therefore, I recommend changing the infill to Grid before printing. Printed with Aligned Rectilinear can still be used normally; it’s just that the curved parts are more fragile. Wishing you a smooth printing experience!
I recommend applying glue to the heated bed before printing. After printing, let it cool completely before taking the model off for better results. And I recommend using the 0.24mm draft layer height I set, as I found that the 0.20mm standard has more overhang areas. Wishing you successful printing!
Disclaimer: The lower the height, the less suitable it is for placing most items.
