Description

I found once I added the risers for the lights to my P1S, the PTFE tube internal to the printer was getting hung up on the ledge on the right whenever the print head would go all the way to the right. It would hang up and then “click click click” as it banged on the ledge. I printed a couple of guides to try out but they had a sharp bend, causing more force to be needed to pull the filament through the tube. This design has a longer arm which allows a more gentle bend, solving both issues. It is also low enough to fit under the ledge, so it won't collide with the ledge when the machine homes.

Not good printable, also not the best. Starts good at the bottom, but no really guide on the way to the top.

Sorry you had issues with your print. Yours in particular seems to have gone a little wrong. Could you try printing again with .12 layer height? There is intentionally no guide on the way to the top. This allows the PTFE tube to assume its own natural shape which is better for the function of this part.

I think you set another issue by natural guiding. I understand what u mean. but so I think you took one issue of but set a new one, perhaps two in a hard way over the time. The solution in my eyes could be: get a more smoothly bow and support the ptfe two or three times on the inner bow-side. That should prevent the bending of the ptfe. Also, I was hard while saying it’s hard to print. I like easy printable things. I thing for that would be solutions on my side. I got another other guide and it works for me. So I have to print the (for me important) things. But I respect you for your work! My Comment was not meaning any bad to u! Have a nice time and get a good new year!

It works well and helped my contraction issues. I was concerned about breaking something when I was assembling it onto the printer. However, when I printed in PETG with 4 walls, it snapped on with just a little extra push. I have included the photos of it during assembly.

zu schwache Konstruktion, habe das Teil jetzt 3 x auf Meinem Bambu Lab P1S gedruckt 1x PTEg mit 0,2 SUNLU 1x ABS mit 0,2 Bambu Lab 1x ABS mit 0,12 Bambu Lab wie weiter unten empfohlen jedes mal ist mir beim Entgraten des Teiles etwas abgebrochen. Siehe Fotos
