Modular Collapsing Sword(40 combinations!)

A simple collapsing sword where all parts are swappable, for maximum customization!

Instructions

Step one

Print Parts!

I recommend using the print profile, as it includes all of the sliced models, and you don't have to search through the individual models. The print profile is sorted through four different beds.

First bed

This is the main blade, you need this. (duh.)

Second bed

this one has both of the handle designs. Pick your favorite, delete the other, you don't need both.

Third bed

Same concept as the second bed, but these are the guards(the bit that protects your hand from the sharp part, goes between the handle and the blade.) there are four choices for this, pick one, delete the rest.

Fourth bed

These are the pommels(the bit that goes on the other side of the handle from the blade. They’re called that because you can pommel people over the head with them. Look it up.(don't try it though.)) five different ones of these, two of which can print upside-down with no supports, and are already in that position.

Step two

Final assembly

Insert the full blade point side first into one of the sides of the handle. If the blade does not fit flush with the handle, that's the wrong side. They look symmetrical, but they're not, sorry. Flip it around to the other side and that one should fit.

Insert the pommel on the same side as you put the blade so it doesn't fall back out, and the guard into the other side. Some parts may need glue, some may need sanding. If the guard is too loose, don't immediately try it by flicking the blade out, or the guard will slide off and fly across the room. Don't ask me how I know.
