Description

Update:

  • A new updated version has been added. It supports spools with 49–76 mm core diameter and 55–72 mm width. Additionally, several minor ergonomic and aesthetic modifications have been implemented.
  • Designed a tube that allows the desiccant to be emptied without unscrewing the container from the spool. It also help pour the saturated desiccant beads directly onto a food dryer tray without spilling.

----

Universal Desiccant Container for spools with 49–74 mm core diameter and 58–72 mm width.

Need a different fit?

Geeetech spools specifically: [Desiccant container for Geeetech spools]
General storage boxes or bags: [Desiccant containers for storage boxes/bags]

Features

  • The top and bottom ring dimensions, along with the container height, are sized to fit most 0.8–1 kg filament spools.
  • Slightly curved ring surfaces allow the container to self-center when screwed onto a spool.
  • All vertical mesh walls have an increased contact area, making them substantially stronger and more resistant to breakage.
  • The funnel doubles as a lid key.
  • Both the lid and top ring use 3-start threads for faster, easier removal and attachment.

Printing:

Use the 3mf file supplied, as the seam locations have been carefully positioned within it.
Print in PETG, ABS, or ASA if you plan to dry the desiccant inside the container; otherwise PLA works fine.
