Description

I'm living in a place where indoor humidity is around RH 60% - 75%. I don't have a filament dryer. Instead, I keep the filament spools in Ziploc bags individually with desiccant silica gel packs. I used an electric air pump to act as a vacuum to suck out excessive air in the bag so that the desiccant packs can work easier to keep filament dry. The round shaped adaptor comes with the pump do not have the right profile to prevent leaking of air while prevent damaging of the zip locking strips on bags. Thus I design this adaptor! It is designed to have slim profile with holes along the tip and edges for effective vacuuming. The internal diameter of adapter is 17.75mm which will fit to most air mat pumps. Ziploc bags can slide out of the adaptor after vacuuming for quick sealing without letting air going back into the bag. Hope you will find it useful to keep your filaments in dry condition longer.

such a nice idea, do you know what is the diameter of the adaptor? ill need to hook it to the vacuum cleaner (ill set it to the lowest setting)
