Description

This filament splicing jig is a tool that simplifies joining filament ends. Use a soldering iron tip to melt the filament ends, then push them together for a perfectly aligned joint. Clean up the connection effortlessly with a file, razor blade, or utility knife. Streamline your filament splicing process with ease.

 

I modified the original model by https://www.printables.com/@LoboCNC and added holes for 3x6mm magnets, so it snaps together effortless.

Printed in PETG to slice PETG and PLA filament. Have look at the video tutorial below and straigthen the filament ends befor inserting into the tool.

Very nice print. Magnets fir nice and tight no glue needed. Printed with Bambu PETG.

haven't tested yet but Prints clean and looks great, will update when I can test

would using 3Dgloop or super glue work and have less clean up since those glues didn’t leave a residue?
