Description

Update- I have updated the proifiles with a better hinge and a reinforced body. I hope this helps everyone with any issues they may have been experienced. Please keep the feedback coming. I will have a full clamshell design soon.

This is a simple Nintendo Switch game cartridge holder. It has a print-in-place hinge and stays shut with, 2- 6x3mm, magnets. The holes in the back are for pushing the game cartridge out safely.

Torn on this one. Brilliant design (I love that it easily fits in my Switch case) and printed well in PLA+ (the hinge didn't work in PETG, sadly) but the games are so hard to get out that I fear I'll snap a cartridge. To rectify this, I ended up taking my Dremel to one side of the tabs that secure the cartridges. They're still held securely by the tab on the other side but now they're easy to remove by just pressing from behind on the side with the removed tab. The Dremel roughed the case up a little, so it would be lovely if you're able to upload a version with one of the tabs removed (and with the remaining tab slightly lengthened, perhaps?) :) I'm not sure if I understand how these new Boosts work but I used two of mine on this model!
