Mini Ball in a Box Fidget
Print Profile(2)

Description
When you are new to 3D printing you need to make three things: Chain, a mechanical device that prints in place, and a ball in a box. Well, here is your ball in a box! It is small (20mm) and prints easily with supports. It is a great way to use up a short roll end of filament. All of my grandkids will have one of these in their stocking this Christmas. It is a cute novelty to set on your desk and fidget with from time to time.
Updated on 9/26/24 with a second print profile so you can now make a two-color print (no AMS required). Print the ball first. Twist the ball off the build plate while the plate is still warm and the supports will stay stuck to the plate. Print the box until the printer pauses. Drop in the ball and resume printing.
