Description

Snowman with fuzzy skin surface.
The printing profile is set according to objects, which means it is placed on a printing plate so that the filament colors are printed one after the other. This saves time and filament changes. Only 5 filament changes are necessary. Support is also not necessary.
I adjusted the gap dimensions so that the parts fit together easily, but due to deviations in printing and material, I recommend putting a drop of glue directly on the parts.
Press the buttons, mouth, nose, eyes and arms into the holes then put the scarf on and put the head and cap on top.

Update: 12/2/23
The brim on the arms is enlarged for better grip.

Update: Added another snowman. In one print you can color and customize yourself.

The hands did not work, but everything else looks great.

Hello, have you changed anything in the print profile? Can you tell me what exactly happened to the hands?

Replying to @Schoko :
I did not change anything in the profile, but since the hands print vertical, they kept popping off of the plate. I feel like there was not enough support on the bottom of the hands to hold them on while they finished printing.

The hands worked well until it started to print the fingers. As soon as it started to print the fingers, the it popped off the the plate.

Kids love it! The fingers came off the bed so will reprint, but otherwise worked well. Thanks!

Hello, I see that the arms are not finished printing. Did you have any issues with print bed adhesion? I re-uploaded the print profile with a larger brim on the arms for better adhesion. If you print it again, pay attention to the buttons and eyes, the small radius should point outwards.

Thanks! Yes it was an adhesion issue. I’m waiting for brown filament to arrive next week and will reprint the arms! I used the textured plate so opted to turn the buttons around for the effect! thanks for the tip though 👍

Very nice model. I had to print the arms 3 times but was worth it! Thanks!

I'm sorry that you had to print out the arms 3 times. I had enlarged the brim for better adhesion. Maybe that's still not enough, or you had a spot on your print bed with poor adhesion. I clean it with warm water and dish soap.

Hey I'm new here, but is there any way to get it solid 1 piece for AMS?

Hello, that wouldn't make much sense. There would have to be supports under the arms, nose, hat and then hundreds of filaments to change. Running time determined over 20 hours.

Yeah I suppose and some of the other snowmen have exactly that. I would do it though =)

OK. Then they give me 1-2 days, then I customize the snowman and publish a print profile.
