Description

A docking station for Roborock Vacuums that allows the mop to air out due to an insert with holes.

Full credit to mennovdzee on Thingiverse for the model, all I did was break it up into dovetailed parts to allow it to be printed in pieces on Bambu printers. The original model was a single piece for the body and a single piece for the insert.

I use it with my Roborock S5, but it seems like it would work for a number of the Roborock robot vacuum models.

This is exactly what we needed! I’m not getting the option to rate, but 5 stars for sure. Without a ton of viable floor space in our apartment, our Roborock Q8 Max lives under the couch. Unfortunately, the dock overlaps with the living room rug, causing issues for the vacuum at the beginning & end of cleaning duty, and we have to be super mindful to remove the mop or it presses against the pile. (A piece of wood didn’t work because of the slant from rug to floor, lack of ramps, and absorption of mop water.) This docking station — or “landing pad” as my partner’s taken to calling it — is absolutely perfect. Vacuum can easily do its job now without its wheel grinding against the floor as it tries to get over the bump and we can leave the mop on without it getting gross. I ended up gluing the pieces together on top of a bit of cardboard on the back half and stuck it all down with carpet tape. THANK YOU!

Other Issues:the fact that the grill split doesn't line up with the baseplate split looks really off

An A1 mini version would make me extremely happy

It's amazing and fits perfectly with my roborock, however when leaving the station the robot usually moves the bottom around. Has anyone faced the same issue and maybe has a good solution?

You could try adding a bit of double sided carpet tape to the bottom to keep it from moving around. Likely wouldn't need much.
