LED-Riser-Bambulap
Print Profile(3)

Description
I designed this LED riser for myself primarily to have more light in the build chamber and to raise the glass lid so that the drag chain does not constantly rub against the glass.
I have also integrated ventilation slots to print different materials.
These are movable to close or open the riser completely or partially as desired.
Since I did not want to screw or glue this frame under any circumstances, I designed 2 different connectors in the form of a bone and an X, and it holds together very well.
I consciously refrained from directing the LED strip downwards because I want to avoid the LiDAR being disturbed by the light.
I integrated the LED strip into a cage because I didn't want to glue it either. The adhesive tape on the LED strip loosens due to the heat in the build chamber and would thus fall into the printer.
This is excluded with this cage.
I printed this frame from PETG-gray and the cage and connectors from PLA-green.
For me, this is currently sufficient as I mainly only process these materials.
For assembly:
→ Put all 4 main parts together correctly. (Starting with the back left = A)
→ Connect these 4 parts with the bone connectors
→ Now connect the sides with the X connectors
→ Now insert the LED strip you purchased and cut it to size
→ Now take the cage (A) and position it over the main part A
→ Check the LED strip to make sure it is not pinched anywhere and then press the cage down
→ If the cage is sitting correctly, do the same with cage B/C/D
