Description

Lithophane Globe base compatible with Bambu Lab Led lamp kit 001

 

Print both halves and simply insert the led light kit into the lower half and screw it up into the upper piece

 

The lithophane fits snugly into the upper part with some force - no glue required

With doing the globe, do I glue it on to the base? I was wanting to have the globe and upper part of the base printed as one piece, the issue I was having is the orientation of the front of the globe so that when the light is screwed in, the cord is at the back. It would be good if I could add a small screw section to the globe (and base) so that I could easily quick change the globe if I wanted to. Especially as my kids grow up.

you dont glue it in its a tight fit you just push it into location i also have a looser fitting base in my other models that uses 3 3d printed screws to hold the globe in place

found it rather tight to screw together, but got there in the end

16/11/2023 Re-uploaded newer version that has the correct height cylinder to better suit the globe base any issues let me know and I will correct them as needed
