I have a large number of 25mm preform tubes. These tubes are often described as “soda bottles to be” as they are made of the same PET plastic. Traditionally these tubes would be heated and inflated into a bottle shape for your favorite beverage. In their preformed stage they make great water tight containers for geocaches or propagation tubes for turning cutting into fully formed plants. The do need support as they cannot free stand and are quick to roll away (or spill their contents) when laid on their side.
This print consists of two parts the main body that holds the tube and a small back plate. The main body can be press-fit with up to five 8x3mm neodymium magnets to allow it to be stuck to a metal surface.
Alternatively the small backing piece can be printed and glued into place to allow threading zip-ties for an alternate attachment method.
