iPhone 13 Mini TPU Case (MagSafe compatible)

I have previously designed several cases for the iPhone 13 Mini and other models, but I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the case for my 13 Mini. So, I started completely from scratch and redesigned this case from the ground up.

Fit:

The Mini fits perfectly in this case—no wobbling or bending once it’s in place. The iPhone is fully enclosed up to the edge of the screen protector to ensure that the display is 100% protected in the event of a drop. In my tests, I used the ESR tempered glass screen protectors available on Amazon.

MagSafe:

Since I use MagSafe for charging at night or as a mount in the car, on the cross-trainer, etc., I left an appropriate cutout on the back of the case so that these mounts can be used without any issues (the cutout has a diameter of 60mm).

Buttons:

For the buttons, I decided to use cutouts, as I’ve had issues in the past where buttons had to be trimmed to respond properly, which often resulted in them being pressed accidentally in my pocket. With the cutouts, it’s now ensured that the buttons are easy to press but won’t be activated accidentally. While it might feel a bit unusual at first, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks for me.

Charging Port:

I intentionally made the cutout around the charging port slightly larger to allow different charging cables to be plugged in without any problems.

Design:

The iPhone is protected all around by 2mm of TPU. The lip around the front of the display is also 2mm thick, providing good protection in case the phone is dropped or placed face down on a table.
