Neon Halloween Light Boxes
Print Profile(6)

Description
I recently came across a clip of someone demonstrating how to make a neon light effect when drawing with paint pens on a black background. They used white paint pen for the main lines of the drawing and then outlined that with different shades (light & dark) of a colored paint pen. I wanted to see if that could be done using filament to create the same effect for light boxes/lamps. These models are the results of my project using different Halloween themed images.
The models here are face plates that simply snap on to the front of my light box frame. No glue required! You can easily swap out the face plates to change the image on the light box. You can find that light box frame here:

This shows how easy the Face Plate swap is with the light box frame in the link above:

The .3mf files are setup for easy filament/color selection. Under the “Objects” section, simply select the filament that aligns to the corresponding filament slot in your AMS.
Here are the filament combinations I’ve tried for the different neon color effects. These are the filament combinations used in the model pictures. I haven’t tried the filaments listed in brackets [] yet, but they look to be close color equivalents for the ones that I have used.
