I originally published this drybox on thingiverse (thing nr. 3884699). It became quiet popular, so I decided to publish it here again (I will no longer publish any designs on thingiverse).

If you need changes like e.g. equal rolls, a lid for the silicagel-container or a silicagel-container for a different hygrometer, you can go over to thingiverse, there are a lot of remixes. I would like to publish some of them here, but I'm not sure if this is o.k.

A total of 8 608zz ball bearings are needed. The axis can be printed, but you can also use a wood or metal rod with a little less than 8mm in diameter and 158mm in length.

Different from the pictures I use M12 x 1.5 cable glands to connect the PTFE-tube to the box. I designed a connector that replaces the original nut that comes with the cable glands. It prevents the tube from slipping into the inside of the box and at the same time facilitates threading the filament.

Ursprünglich habe ich diese Drybox auf thingiverse veröffentlicht (Nr. 3884699). Die Box war dort recht beliebt, deshalb habe ich mich entschlossen, sie auch hier zu veröffentlichen (ich werde keine neuen Designs mehr auf thingiverse veröffentlichen).

Wenn ihr Änderungen braucht, wie z.B. gleich breite Rollen, einen Deckel für den Silicagel-Container oder einen Silicagel-Container mit Aufnahme für ein anderes Hygrometer, dann schaut mal bei Thingiverse, da gibt es inzwischen etliche Remixe. Ich würde einige davon auch gerne hier veröffentlichen, bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob das erlaubt ist.

Es werden insgesamt 8 608zz Kugellager benötigt. Die Achse kann gedruckt werden, man kann aber auch einen Holz- oder Metallstab mit etwas weniger als 8mm Durchmesser und 158mm Länge benutzen.

Das Hygrometer findet man überall auf amazon, ebay oder aliexpress.

Anders als auf den Bildern benutze ich inzwischen M12 x 1,5 Kabelverschraubungen, um den PTFE-Schlauch mit der Box zu verbinden. Ich habe einen Verbinder konstruiert, der anstelle der originalen Mutter, die mit den Kabelverschraubungen geliefert wird, eingesetzt wird. Sie verhindert, dass der Schlauch in das Innere der Box rutschen kann und erleichtert gleichzeitig das Einfädeln des Filaments.

Perfect. Could have used a little bit slower speeds on the bridges (could have been that i'm using esun pla+) and removing support material was easy. print the accompanying model that takes in PC4-M10 so you can route the filament in. I would recommend routing the filament from the bottom instead of top to avoid the spool jumping, but I haven't drilled yet. Will get back with an update soon.

So far the best one for ikea 365, is it possible to create a lid to close the silica Container? would be amazing!!
