Description

Hey yall. I made this lamp using Amolen transparent filament but it'll work with a light color like white or glow in the dark. Keep the walls at 2 for the best result. This will take about 510g of filament. The print setting profile included in the .3mf project is my highest quality profile and is meant to be run in sport/ludicrous mode from the very start. Works well with most PLA. USE Glue! The lamp will fit most pendant fixtures but below are links to the hardware I used.

Let me know how it goes for you!

I still got a but of lines on the print but I printed in sport and PETG. Not sure about what impact all that had still 65 hours and successful print! This was a blue/white filament. I think I might try again in solid blue when I am out of town.

Thanks for sharing! I wasn’t really considering PETG when I published this and I wasn’t as thorough in making multiple print profiles for different materials. Give me a few days and I’ll upload an updated profile using my current PETG settings now that I use it more. honestly looks pretty good though. I’ll comment back here as ncs the new profile is uploaded. Btw, what filament is that? I love it.

Replying to @K_Printz3D :
The filament is stronghero - cheap PETG available on Amazon in USA. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BHL2TJ8G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 I am really happy with how it turned out - but I haven't got around to trying anything else.

Thank you so much. First print from Makerworld. Done on Anycubic Kobra Pro 2. Downloaded, default slicer settings...perfect

That turned out great! Thanks for sharing! I used to have two of the original Kobras and they were solid. It looks like they’ve gotten even better.
