Customizable Box with Slide Lid

A customizable box with a slide lid.

Use the Customize option to choose the size box you want. I have uploaded a few print profiles from my prints.

Last week, my wife mentioned that she needed a small container of some sort to hold a small, needle like cross stitch tool to avoid losing it when carrying it in her craft bag and this is what I came up with. I created this with parameters as I needed to be able to tweak things until I got it working for our needs. Once I had it working, I realized I could change the values to make boxes for other uses. As a test, I printed a box for my wedding ring. After that I printed a box for a deck of cards that had a worn cardboard box.

When using the Customize option, the default values are what I used for my deck of cards. Below are the dimensions for the items I printed:

(Inside_Width, Inside_Depth, Inside_Height, Wall_Thickness, Top_Thickness, Lid_Thickness, Bottom_Thickness, Edge_Rounding)

• 8.5, 63.0, 2.0, 2, 1, 2, 1, 1 - Needle Box
• 24.0, 24.0, 7.0, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1 - Ring Box
• 64.1, 89.4, 17.2, 2, 1, 2, 2, 1 - Card Deck Box
