Description

A Festive Grinch andles split for multi-colour printing, also split to enable printing with just one AMS or all in one with more than one AMS.

i have also included a single colour STL file single colour or resin printing

The model itself is an easy 5/5 However there are some major issues with this printing profile. The first being the body. For some unknown reason, its putting RED in the center of the base 30 layers too soon. Causing 60 unnessasary filimant changes, and over an hour of print time. The other issue is the eyes on the candle part. They are just parts welded on, and that makes them extrude from the model causing unneeded supports, and an overall weird look to them. I have fixed these 2 main issues, as well as added a hole in the top for a Tea Light. If/when I get the ok to upload my profile with a remixed version of the head, I will gladly do so.

^ this. I stopped my print after seeing that error too. To anyone who might be concerned, just add a cube modifier like this, then select the yellow color. You will save an hour and lots of filament changes.

Would you mind making an alternate top part that would be cutout to hold a tea light like this? Here is a quick tinkercad hack i did just for show purposes. Quality of the model is lost with tinkercad

You can right-click on the head and select Add Negative Part > Cylinder in Bambu Studio. Assuming you're using the main print profile with the head in the middle, I used the following for the cylinder: Size: X = 37mm, Y = 37mm, Z = 33 Rotation: X = 340 Position: X = 3, Y = 19, Z = 23

Can you please fix the base? I when I move the view around the patterns change. I love the look of it but whenever I see stuff like this, it ends with a partial print being thrown out.

if you slice and print the file you will see that it will print all white as the top layer it’s just that the way the slicer shows it it prints perfectly

Fewer Filament Changes + optional LED Tea Light

Turned out great. If there was any way to separate the white area and have it print separately from the base it would greatly improve the print speed. But I love this model.
