I just wanted to have a Holding Rack for the Modular Cress/Sprout Sieve/Farm V2 with standard M3 screws. The designer NightHawk was so kind to share the step files for his connectors and spacers. In the end I designed a new stiffer rack based on his design with standard M3 screws instead of “self tapping, counter sunk screws” he used.
There are 2 files available:
1. farm_v2_rack - remix with ruthex M3.3mf - This File has a connector and a spacer with standard form ruthex m3 thread inserts which makes the whole rack very stable
2. farm_v2_rack - remix M3.3mf - This File has a connector and a spacer with normal m3 wholes. I found out that the screws have a good grip inside the filament even without the ruthex thread inserts. But after a few times of dismantling and reassembling, there could be problems because the screws have less grip over time.
You need to print 2 spacers and 4 connectors. If you want to extend your “initial” rack you need everytime additonally 2 spacer and then only 2 connectors.
