Introducing a unique 3D-printed model inspired by the classic 90s NES controller!

This design faithfully replicates the original brick-shaped NES controller, but with a twist – it opens up to reveal a sleek storage solution for up to 20 Micro SD cards. Perfect for adding a nostalgic touch to your workspace, this fun and functional accessory is easy to print and assemble.

The model is designed with separate parts that can be easily glued together, allowing for a seamless build.

The top cover, which features the iconic controller buttons, requires multi-color printing using AMS, but a single-color version is also included for those without AMS capabilities.

The buttons, frames, and Lid housing all attach to the cover (with a drop of glue), while the cover itself can be secured to the base with either two M2.5x12mm screws or small pieces of filament used as pins.

Whether you’re a fan of vintage gaming or just looking for a cool way to organize your storage, this NES controller Micro SD card holder is a fun and practical project!

Q&A

Why are there no logos or text?

Unfortunately, the logos and text were too small to be printed accurately with a .4mm nozzle.

Is it a faithful replica?

Aside from the modifications to make it an openable box, the design is very faithful in terms of dimensions and components. The only difference is a slightly increased height to accommodate the Micro SD cards.
