Description

The fifth wall shelf in the moon series, gibbous moon. No supports or brims needed. Use 4 mm screws to fasten. Can be scaled, but screws will have to be adjusted accordingly. This completes the series, but I will be adding some more variations if there's interest. Thanks!

I don't recommend using the lightning infill from this profile, but the model itself is solid. After failing on the full moon due to not enough structural integrity and wasting 100m of filament, I printed that one again with support-cubic infill and it came out quite well, so I went straight to cubic infill for this one and it looks great. You will increase material use with support-cubic but you can decrease some of the print time by switching to draft / 0.28 layer height as this is not a precision model.

making these for my wife’s birthday, turned out great except for the overlapping of the calibration extrusion - just had to snip them off and sand it down, no big deal considering the size. great design
