Description

A vase inspired by a 1901 work by Eduard Stellmacher. I loved the design so I commissioned someone to replicate it as a 3D model for printing. It's not an exact replica but takes a lot of inspiration from it and adds a bit extra with the floral design (although the model is also available without that if you'd prefer to paint it).

Printing tips:

I won't lie; this is a fairly difficult print and requires a lot of supports but the end result is well worth it. The image below will give you a good idea of what needs support. The downward-facing spikes and tips of the wings, the bat's chin and nose, and some of the floral design. The main issue I had while printing was the supports falling, especially the very tall ones. Just make sure the supports are sturdy and adhere well to the bed.

Be sure to post your makes! If you like the design, please consider tipping on Ko-fi. Thank you! :-)
